Yo ho, yo ho, the pirate life

Liam, a.k.a., Pirate Skull Vest, allowed us to visit with him for awhile before he went on his voyage around the neighborhood rounding up more treats. A-pirating he will go....Aaarrrggghhh

Locopops

We had the pleasure of joining Liam and his Mommy on a trip to the local Locopops shoppe to indulge in a gourmet handmade frozen pop.

Such a difficult decision on what flavor to choose that it required a very serious moment.

Anticipation was tense (notice the tight grip) while Mommy unwraps the pop.

Finally, chocolate strawberry, Mom's favorite. (I guess I will share.)

But I get the last bite.

and what is on my face...

Saying good-bye to the ice cream shoppe is never an easy thing to do.
(I had the same look on my face)

How to eat cake!

First you get your Mommy to make you an awesome 1st birthday cake with chickens, pigs and cows along with a red barn and an fence to keep them all in.

Then have everyone sing Happy Birthday, this is what ligths the candle so you can blow it out!

Then have your Daddy give you your 1st piece of cake on your 1st birthday plate!

Check with Daddy to make sure it's still ok,

and it was, so then grab two hands full of cake and squeeze,

and squeeze, this makes the cake just perfect for this...

and that's how to eat cake!

Tuesday with Liam

The day was so beautiful that we got to go outside to explore and look at the pretty flowers in the neighbor's yard.

For a moment I thought Liam was interested in the pretty pink roses

or maybe in the nice purple irises growing along the driveway, but I was wrong...

...it was his foot that interested him.

In the Swing of things

This afternoon's lunch break I got to join Liam and Rick at the park for some playtime. One of Liam's favorite park time events is the swing, he also likes the dolphin teeter ride and the boat ride.
